This is soo smooth, you really made me interested in buying a Waldorf XT as it's the closest thing to the Wave. Ahhh so many things I want lol the wave and an original urei-1620 are my dream machines. Oh and thanks for your sample CD and vinyl, i'm owner no.69 of My life with the wave

One day one of these will come up for sale near me... it has to! Until then, I'll caress my XTk and watch your video! Nice subtle overtones going on there - very tasteful!

Just beautiful. I could get lost in that sound. Mike H, any chance of a re-release of 'My Life with the Wave' or even a second volume? Secondhand copies are changing hands for a lot of money in the UK. p.s. I own a Blofeld and a MicroQ and great as they are, they can't touch the Wave. It's the combination of those SEM filters and all those knobs I guess

Waldorf XT you say, are they still being made? I can't find them in any online store... Is the Wahe itself still being produced? are they really so hard to get? It truly sounds wonderful.. Does al Waldorf's have this kind of sound?

The only other synth that have that dream-like quality to me was the ARP/rhodes Chroma. Incredible.

The XT has been discontinued for years and the wave has been discontinued for even longer. Good luck geting a wave as they are extreemly rare and expensive. Waldorf does have a certain sound but nothing sounds like a wave/microwave after all it's a wave table synth.

@8LeSkin8 warm sounds from the waldorf wave 2 coming soon. mike

It sounds beautiful, but I'd never be able to justify spending $10,000+ dollars on one.
