Pokemon Go was the first time in my life i felt like World peace was obtainable lmao just massive amounts of people you've never met, have no idea what their ideologies or personalities were but everyone was so nice and just wanted to catch Pokemon together.

I’m actually surprised at how much I’m enjoying building decks and battling in the game. Every time you pull a cool new card, it’s an opportunity to experiment with a new deck. I’m definitely looking forward to the trading feature, but even more than that- new expansions, which will begin to open up the meta to a larger variety of decks. It’s also very F2P friendly, as long as you’re fine being limited to opening a few packs per day. For me those small hits of dopamine spread throughout my day is exactly what I look for in mobile games.

It’s so fun! I was really into Yugioh Duel Links, and Master Duel because I’ve always loved card games, but after a certain point the plays got too complicated, and predicting your opponents moves became more and more important in order to disrupt plays. I found my self needing cheat sheets just to remember how to operate my Tri-Brigade Zoodiac deck. But eventually I was watching hour long tutorial videos taking notes trying to learn how to a play the next deck. Eventually it just became homework and I stopped enjoying it. Pokémon TCH Pocket however is way more simplistic and yet there’s enough in there that it doesn’t become boring. Predicting is still important, but not as BIG BRAIN as YUGIOHS meta.

I like it but the $10 sub is such bad value. I feel like they should either cut the price or increase what you get (not necessarily cards, if collection pacing is the concern. Like right now theres only missions that get you an alt coin, battle map, and card back)

even now there are kinda of many decks that are decent but people love tthe best decks evenn though you dont get much xp for pvp

This sucks all the fun out of the game tbh. The joy was from the search, the travelling round trying to find the card you’ve been struggling to find. This isn’t fun imo because you don’t own any cards, the joy is lost because now you can throw money all day and have nothing to show for it. I like the fun some people are having but to me you don’t “own” any of these cards and I love flipping through the folders of cards and swapping with friends.

It has way more potential than TCG live because they have their own cards and battle rules. This means balancing and patches are achievable. TCG live is an exact replica of the regular TCG and thus has the same problems

@Steddie909 tcg live is better BECAUSE it's an exact replica. The real cards are so much more satisfying to collect. Not only that, but it's not cash grabby free to play BS. Don't get me wrong. I'm playing it and doing the thing, but it just doesn't hold the same weight as it would if I were collecting real cards. It's a serviceable supplement to the real thing, but it can never replace it.

it has a lot of room to grow but enjoy the new battle system mainly cause its shorter and streamlined which works better on the phone when you only got 15 min or less to kill
