Thanks, Doc for this video. Mike is an amazing drummer and educator. What a wonderful influence in the drumming community. I really liked the ideas that he presented here about flow and honestly, his counsel chapped my hide a little. Ouch! I need to spend more time taking the many chunks that I have practiced diligently and diligently practice speaking with them. Great video.

I've always said that drummers are like dancers and if someone can play the drums, they can dance or learn to dance if they can't already. They obviously have the rhythm and they're essentially dancing around the kit with their entire body. Change my mind...

There is a limited run of his signature snare that has just been released that is in the blue glass finish just like his kit. It looks like that’s what he’s playing in this video.
