Megan Coyle One of my specialties is to simplify the technique so I call tips or tricks. No wonder over 1/4 million people have gone to my workshop and loved the experience. Hope you will join us someday, or at least go to our site and join it at www.beloose.com.

Mike Lin Unfortunately, I am bed-bound due to chronic illness, so I can't go to workshops or art classes. I teach myself through books, KZbin videos like yours, and by studying other artists' work. I *will* check out your website, though! I'm always up for learning new techniques and tricks when it comes to art! If you want to, you can see some of my art here: facebook.com/meganecoyleart

You ARE amazing! I love markers but have always struggled on how to use them ESPECIALLY with a blender. I love this dreamy water color look. Thank you for this video and you're easy and understandable method.

Thanks for sharing! I like your use of a wide range of colour, not just greens and Browns.

gee massam Art Indeed, we human sees 7 colors for sun (rainbow) on every object, therefore when render a drawing, you should color it like what you see, so you need to apply more than one color for every object. Especially color trees, I also use 3 light colors on top of it to express the light.

Yup, i try to, especially when painting! Thanks for the reply - i might try and apply this more to my marker work... :D

Estella Dee Use of blender in marker is like the use of water in watercolor. You can't paint watercolor without a cup of water, so does the marker without colorless blender.

@humcoronado no they aren't. Those are Charpak markers, which are alcohol based (hence the smell). They blend much better than prisma color and have a better color selection, in my opinion. I prefer to use a tablet and color in the pc, but the techniques are the same.

Beautiful simplicity.Excuse me, for i have little experience-- but why are some people saying this artist is too rough on his markers? Please explain.
@vessicagames1477 жыл бұрын
manthasagittarius1 i think it’s due to him kinda throwing his markers as he’s done using them. Other people would slowly cap them and place them because they are so expensive. They can be $8 per marker.

good technique! what type of paper is?
@oneiione9 жыл бұрын
Probably marker paper. Markers don't soak into this paper as much so even though it is thin the marker doesn't bleed through (unless you supersaturate the paper with markers, of course), and they have it at a lot of art stores. A good brand is Canson if you are looking to buy some.
@belooselin9 жыл бұрын
KOALA It is by Borden Riley 100S for markers. A good marker paper is made to take markers in vivid colors (unlike trace paper) but doesn't breed like xerox paper.
