343 people don't understand music or how difficult it is for a male to have such a wide vocal range, period. This man's skill is not easily matched by almost any musician alive at the moment. He isn't mainstream because his message doesn't fit into the mainstream narrative. His message is love and positivity, that's not the mainstream narrative; that would be sex, drugs, and money.

As a retired player of 40 yrs, I'd like to say, NOW THATS TALENT! Thank you! As a player from the 60s and 70s I thought all the talent had disapeared, I hope some label has enough ear to hear this talent. May God bless and may millions hear and appreciate your voice, writing, and playing. Thanks

I Pray Mike never $ign$ on the dotted line with any label and that He stays independent of their fuckery and free to do what his heart leads Him to at any time .. Record co. Contracts kill the Spontaneity and that kills' the music.. you were in it for 40 years so you likely already know this to be true.. cheers my friend.. we do agree on this talent

i don't know how I've managed to live 31 years without letting this man speak into my spirit.... just wow... this song is awesome... but my favorite is "permanent holiday" ... the way Mr. Love uses the loop petal is the same way that God speaks revelation into our lives... I've never seen anything like it.... this guy is surely deserves a crown... way better leadership than what we have today... thanks for just being you, brother!!!

Penniless Mike Love I’ve kept my mouth shut too long Begging for scraps down here at the bottom And though I know it might ruffle some feathers I just can’t hold my tongue no more Cause I’m sure that the weak and the poor got Something to say but they can’t pay so nobody listens And a man with a hell of a plan can’t do nothing with His hands while he’s stuck in the back washing dishes It don’t seem right that some work ‘til the day that they die And some never have to work a single day in their lives Won’t somebody tell me why I get paid half as much to work Twice as hard as all these yuppie jerks Just because I don’t wear a suit and a tie Am I out of my mind to wish that I was Penniless, so that I could rest All these money troubles give me stress Always wanting more and having less All these worries take my Life away, there goes another day Working minimum wage Trapped up inside this cage With one foot in the grave I think it would be best if we all were just more Penniless They say you’re penniless you’re broke but to me it’s a joke Cause the wealthiest ones, mentally, spiritually, are the unhealthiest ones Their trust funds ain’t gonna save them when the judgement comes, we’ll just watch ‘em run Cause the tidal wave’s comin’ and it’s gonna break And take away all ignorance, leave only truth in its wake Cause any system’s bound to fail that lets the treacherous prevail and puts the innocent in jail, watches them burn at the stake But I and I know that there will come a day When the breeze will blow, and take this all away And in time everything will be okay If we can just find a way to stay Oh what we hold within our hearts Will always be, will never part And what we hold within our hands Will quickly turn to smoke and sand So let it go Cause the rain will fall and wash away And sun will shine another day, another life, another way, another chance to run and play And all these things that you hold dear, they will soon all disappear So let it go, let go Cause what we hold within our hands Will quickly turn to smoke and sand So let it go, let it fade, let it slide and slip away And may your soul be at rest Rich in love and rich in joy and rich in truth and truly blessed truly Penniless

If Mike Love ever comes to your city, or near you, go see him live in concert! It's funny how we don't talk about profits today anymore, but anyone can see that he is a profit. During his last concert he talked about that once he put his ego aside, the music just came to him from an external source. Imagine if all of us could put our egos aside and see what amazing things would come through us!
