Mike Murillo's Mustang putting down 2400hp to the tires at HP Motorsports dyno competition. He walked away with $3000 for the highest hp car.
Next weekend (10/29/16) you can see it in action at Royal Purple Raceway in Houston.

I'll never understand why people stand directly in front of a car on a dyno - just asking to die if anything goes wrong. Also, i think the - "it's not a ford motor" comments are based mostly on the fact that it may be a "ford architecture/design based motor" but it's not actually "made" or "built" by FoMoCo it's self. You're not gonna run down to the local junk yard and pull a 541cu ford based race motor out of an old fox lol just like you won't find a bunch of big block chevy race motors hanging out in old junk yard camaro's. Therefore, it's performance, longevity, and ability is no longer based on it's roots, but by the quality and standards that it's aftermarket manufacturer creates it to be. Let's put it this way - you don't call an old rocking chair a tree anymore, do you? Either way, this thing going to a dyno comp. is like roughing up kids on the play ground as an adult - kinda unfair but cool to see none the less.
