The biggest problem in todays gym environments even vs 10 years ago is there is a huge influx of young kids and even adults who come to the gym to workout they all pumped up they learned the KZbin workouts and Instagram how to “s. but have no idea how to be respectful. To share weights, share their space, and have manners when they workout . Don’t stand in front of the dumbbell rack , don’t walk thru the isles doing lunges, don’t put your things on a bench you’re not using. Make space for OTHERS around you .You have to respect others working out and SHARE the gym. It’s not all about you . But no influencers will tell you that

Lifting, to some people, especially those that have made the inside of a gym their home for decades, will take these little things much more seriously then a newbie or a casual or maybe somebody that doesn’t take things seriously in life. Back around 2010 I was training Golds Sandhill Las Vegas on pec deck w plates and I had plates and dumbells loaded on stack. Cutler was training and came up to machine and I asked him if he wanted to use and I would strip extra weights. He said no. I definitely would have stepped aside for the champ.
