Yeah, Banks does a masterful job emoting Mike's remorse and regret. He obviously doesn't want to be in the drug and murder biz anymore, and doesn't want to kill Chris, but he's in way too deep and has to. @Chiwalker

@@spinnyboi5659 it's all technical terms, the official name is a suppressor, but they're more colloquially known as silencers. I feel sorry for Mike given that this was one of his budding proteges whom he probably liked as a friend, akin to his relationship with Jesse. But they both accept the reasons why he chose to take the job of killing Mike, and Mike seems to empathise with him even though he knows he must kill him. It's almost merciful when Mike pulls the trigger unexpectedly, causing Chris a swift death rather than watch him blubber and plead Mike to let him go.

SSJaye oh I completely agree, Hank not believing that his brother-in-law was capable of the things that he actually committed is what kept him so behind the entire time, at the end of the day the reason why he was so angry with Walter is because he was angry with himself for letting him slip under his nose, outsmarting him at every turn... You actually see him multiple times as a background character. You have to pay close attention to notice him. The camera kind of does not focus on him too much. He was with Tyrus when they electrocuted Walt outside Jesse's house, and they took Walt to the desert where Gus does his thing. He was also with Gus, when Walt was waiting to bomb Gus' car at the hospital. And most importantly Gus asked Chris to wait in the car before he got blown up by Hector

Fan boys think he's like the Breaking Bad sage who was always wise, one step and above the savagery of his his bosses and partners. No, he's smart yes, but not Walt or Gus level smart, furthermore he was just as cold blooded and ruthless as all the rest.
