@@Goku_Kiyosaki Nah, there is much more superficial cuts in bare knuckle but there are far less rounds and higher chance to injure eachothers hands resulting in less output. Youre trading consistent concussive damage over a longer period of time for more cuts and hand damage generally. Obviously that depends on how well people defend themselves but yeah. Its not like having gloves on means the punch is softer, you can hit harder with a glove on, just much less of a chance to break skin.

If the next fight looks similar to this he will probably have to quit the sport pretty soon. You cant get cut up and taking bare knuckle hits to the bones of your face very long. And in boxing the big gloves are there to protect the hands so you can throw way more punches for way longer than you would w/ no gloves- overall boxing is more dangerous for head trauma (the gloves protect the hands & keep cuts down, but the force to the head & your brain bouncing around in ya skull is same) MMA is more dangerous for overall body trauma- I mean it’s not even a “big injury” but how often do you think a BKB fighter will tear an ACL or a rotator cuff vs an MMA fighter? Lol
