yeah right in the middle of the abs is fine. If you work your abs for MMA you can take a 2 by 4s to the stomach easily. The problem is if someone hits you on the side or the ribs or when you're NOT flexing...you will be struggling for sure lol. For mma you really need to be able to take some damage to your core.
