Also, if you suspend the pump from bungee cords you will cut a lot of your noise. Maybe a bungee suspended from the rim of the tub. The pump will always be noisy, but between the bungee cords and a wrap of insulation around, under and over it will cut the noise massively!

Have you had any problems with algae due to light entering the reservoir and the translucent tubing?

Great creative design! A little to loud though maybe you should think about damping the noise on the pump box. Also the high pressure can damage to the roots and stunt growth when the misters are that close to the roots zone. All in all great work keep up the good videos!

@ steven, Thank you for your comment. The high pressure is not the pressure that the water is hitting the roots at, it is the pressure that is used to operate the misters. Keep in mind that the misters are only able to operate at a certain pressure. The reason that this system is ideal is because it DOES NOT target the roots in a way that will do damage, it is the opposite. The water hitting the roots is so fine that the roots are not affected by the physical force of the water whatsoever. The ez-clone machine targets the roots in a manner as to which the roots are being constantly contacted with force. My machine produces a very fine mist that is equivalent to rain mist or drizzle. Very fine. The reason that my system is a better alternative is because due to the pressure that is used to power the misters, the misters produce a much more atomized droplet of water than your traditional cloning machine. Therefore, the aeration is much more rich. You over aerate the roots and water which is alway a great thing. The better the oxygen, the healthier the roots, and plants. But you are right about the pump sound. I will work on suppressing the noise inside of the box. I will also be adding an exhaust fan on the outside of the pump box so that it can help keep the pump cooler. Understand that the pump sounds louder on the video than in actuality.

michael kindle a sand or bean bag would deaden the acoustic resonance greatly see if you can consider working did that into your design
