0:45 you can immediately see how mikes mood dropped down when questioned about chesters death, stay strong mike , this world needs more mike shinodas, bless you

KiD BeeruS omg yes i could see that, just when the interviewer brought up chester's name, Mike's face and expression just completely dropped and that was just so sad to see that😞 i bet mike misses him more than anyone else in this world, and after all the things they've been through together, they were like brothers and for him to lose someone like Chester...that's hard to cope with, i would be totally devastated if i lost my best friend due to that type of situation😞
@hannahmathers51626 жыл бұрын
And bless Mike's heart, too! He's such an amazing person and he's so strong, I'm so glad he held on for us and was strong enough to go through all the stuff he went through, he's so brave and I'm proud of him for everything he's accomplished, even with and without Chester being gone😊

The host is incredible- such maturity, such smart questions.. And mike is doing absolutely amazing. We needed this to clear out somethings better, and to not get wrong ideas about why Mike is doing what he's doing. The Linkin Park fans are going to support all the guys in whatever they choose to do later on. Much love

This was a GREAT conversation. Respectful, intelligent, and empathetic was the interviewer. One statement that was made that was amazing and really stood out to me; "Congrats on SEEMINGLY doing as well as you are." Most people would say; "Congrats on doing so well." The interviewer did not assume, even if it's not assumed and he is not doing well.
@udasan6 жыл бұрын
So true! The interviewer might not know what's going on but he didn't assume and pretend that everything is okay with Mike or the band because it's not, unlike the other interviewers that interviewed Mike so far for the past few months (including the ones from Kroq that morning) who were like ignoring his pain in favour of making jokes and pretending everything is okay when it's not.
@Lace266 жыл бұрын
agreed - He really cares about MIke and says such lovely things to him, what we all want to say to MIke. Other interviewers assume Mike is doing great because he's doing music and announcing shows. This interviwer is the only one that gets it - Mike is not ok and the only reason he is making music and doing shows is to try and find some healing and normaility.

Mike is such an inspiring and lovable human being. I know what it’s like to lose someone so important to your life. I wish I’d been able to take control and surge forward the way he has.
@jaddison11126 жыл бұрын
This conversation is so true to life. An artist needs to keep creating or something very important inside them sort of dies. I'm an amateur poet/painter. I've lived panic attacks and depression all my adult life. Art has saved my life so many times... thus what Mike says, rings so true. What a wonderful human being he is .... So looking forward to the new Full Album June 15th.

It is so weird and hurtful seeing Mike there on his own, talking about a solo album and about Chester in the past. It is only 8 months but feels like forever since he is gone and at the same time like yesterday. I know life has to go on and shit, but some days it doesn't seem real at all that he is no longer here with us.

I was in tears the whole time! The whole 24 minutes of this! *deep breaths* What a great interview this is. So respectful but so full of in depth questions as well. The interviewer managed to ask almost all the questions that I wanna ask Mike myself and Mike wasn't disappoint in his answer as well. I think this is the most of Chester and his death that Mike has ever talked about, so far. I think it's because he felt safe and comfortable with the interviewer (or the interviewer made him feel that way). You did good, Mike. Just remember that Chester loved you too and looked up to you so much. Keep him close and keep moving on.

I was thrown just watching the start of the interview .... to see Mikes expression brace himself to relive in some way those events that unfolded in July 2017 :( i instantly thought the interviewer made a wrong choice in jumping in the deep end with Chesters suicide. Although i continued to watch and i thought maybe the interviewer felt like starting from that moment and discussing the progresses made afterwards? I guess even if the topic started light heartedly and praised mikes work ethic, his art etc and Chesters name were to suddenly pop up inbetween or even at the end of the segment - the tone would have been the same OR mike would have left feeling worse? Which no one wants! So again listening on .....i did feel the interviewer was honest and empathic towards mike - he did a really good job ( it must be hard asking such questions lets be honest, those hard hitting ones we fans really want the truth from) and mike answered them as honest as he was asked. Infact i think mike did feel comfortable to a point and that could be due to the manner of the interviewer or mike has grown to shield himself protecting his heart thru forcing himself to keep true to his art and answer any fans question. What do you think? I have nothing but total respect for mike and since Chesters passing - i am (as im sure many other fans are) so thankful for mikes hard work and willingness to keep connected with us fans as many other bands would lock themselves away but i feel we really relied more on mike - and that is pressure! He is doing amazing and i dont know how he truely does it bless him. Love from Scotland 🏴💙🦋

Lol. But about that.. I find it a little odd how he speaks so nicely of Ghrol. Ghrol accused them of poor musician ship a while back in 2005. Mike adressed the situation about backing tracks but seemed to have not hold a grudge against ghrol for his distasteful comment?..🤔But then again that was over a decade ago and Mike has also seemed to take Chino Moreno's comment about LP lightly too.
