Yea. “Egoless” mans are on the rise err’where now man. Frank yang, Russel Brand. The underground coming up. I think the mainstream is either gonna synthesise this, or authenticity will take over. Either way, I’m happy to exist rn and be a part of the ride. Enjoy yourselves during your stay here at planet earth 💕

His beats are otherworldly whilst his rhymes are grounded. He's simultaneously present and absent. Separated between two emotional states, but still got it together mentally. It's a near-flawless juxtaposition that I've never seen/heard any other artist execute to this effect. This shit transcends hip-hop/rap music in its entirety. My head stays spinning with each release. I almost can't articulate my thoughts properly. Words will never suffice anyway. Mind-blowing stuff, really. At least, that's my interpretation of it.

MIKE performed at a concert in Peckham early last year (pre-COVID) with Jadasea, Slauson Malone, Voldy Moyo, etc., and I vividly remember approaching him and dapping him up after his set. I congratulated him on a great display, and he proceeded to bump his fist on his heart, give me a head nod, and then kept moving forward. I'll never forget that brief interaction and the night as a whole. Weight of the World got me through crazy-ass 2020 and continues to hold me down to this day. I always resonate heavily with his poignant words. Can't wait for the new album. Peace and blessings. Love and light.

Soon as I saw the split screen I guessed he was gonna do it. But it turned out a bit different from dooms where he had one good side and one bad side and how they intertwine while Mike's I'm guessing has a similar plot but he doesn't end up in the same place which could represent the tug and battle within or even growth and progress. Not sure tho, could prolly be a lazy music video, idek
