Here is the Group 8 feature race from The Hawk at Road America, July 15, 2012, as seen from the Hawk Performance/CRP Racing Porsche 944 Turbo driven by Mike Skeen. We finished first in class and seventh overall.

Nice video as always. If thats a gopro, you can use inner tube or pool hose to wrap around the cage to help get rid of that waviness at higher speeds.

FYI - The wavy "fun-house mirror" effect have nothing to do with the camera mount. It has to do with KZbin's stabilization option. Always decline when KZbin offers to 'fix' your shaky video. I had to delete my videos that KZbin 'fixed' and upload them a second time with the option disabled in order to get them to display correctly.

#105 is an assclown. Seems to always pinch the exits. Not sure if he was blocking or just inept. Nothing i hate to see more than putting the workers safety at risk and he almost ended up on top of them. Hope you shared the video with the VSCDA or SCCA, can't remember who sanctions the HAWK.

Shame the relatively heavy 951 was forced to use period piece sized tyres. Disadvantaged compared to the much lighter 911s and 914s.

Who build this motor? Not enough power on straight lines. These cars are faster than 911's if properly build. Call Albert Broadfoot and let it build the right way.
