A legend alone for his first two albums, worthy of respect for his trying different things on his next two, for being prolific with three albums in the same year (if you include Cyberspace and the Twitter songs), and cementing his status with None of Us and now Darker the Shadow. One of the UK’s most talented and original poets and producers, no matter what you think of him.

He's right, huge parts of Manchester have been gentrified. And now they're doing it in Salford. The middle classes don't like looking at the working class though, which is why Manchester and Salford are being turned into metropolitan cities for the middle classes in their apartment buildings while the working class get pushed further and further out of the cities.

I have never seen a great Mike Skinner interview, I get the impression his brain just works at 100mph and he flits from one thing to another. Absolute musical legend though. The frustrating thing is he came on to promote his film and didn't really say much about it.
