I love Star Trek. I love that Mike loves Star Trek. This is a compilation I made for the amusement of myself and my girlfriend. Similar compilations exist out there, I know. I tried to make a note of pretty much every reference that was made in Half in the Bag and cut together this video.

My bad - that's just a bad cut. It's a frame from RLM's Independence Day Resurgence review and it says "This promotional material is owned by 20th Century Fox and not available for promotional purposes" in red and all caps, and at the bottom-right in white it says "Please email Fox and explain Fair Use to them. Thank you." I think RLM must have been getting bogus copyright strikes from Fox for that video.

I felt so bad for Mike when William Shatner had a mean-spirited senior moment and trashed RLM for some confusing reason. Shatner has always been a mean SOB. It's no secret that he made everyone miserable during the original series.

I met Shatner several times at a resort in Hawaii and he was an awesome guy. Super friendly to everyone and even would chat it up with the hotel staff. I can't say enough good things about him. I would say he seems like the kind of guy that doesn't suffer fools gladly though. Lastly regarding RLM and Bill's Twitter account, it probably wasn't him writing it. Here's a shocker for ya; he didn't really write Tek War either.

Star Trek. The Original Series was great. The Next Generation was very good. Deep Space Nine was sort of ok. Voyager was maginally adequate. I used to think that Enterprise was kind of weak. However, Discovery and Picard make me think that Enterprise wasn't so bad after all. I will not speak of Lower Decks.

Lower decks is good at what it is trying to do and I garentee you if you gave it a chance past the shitty first few eps you will want it to be more canonical then discovery and Picard
