I absolutely love these songs especially “In the living Years “ I’ve forgiven my father and told him “ I love you Dad” when he was alive- I could hear him welling up on the phone, He actually told me He loved me a couple of time over the phone with me in Australia and my Dad in the Uk - We never got to see each other again as he passed away at our family home in England by himself I did go back for my Dads funeral, so glad I did 🌹❤️

How'ya Dennis Same here, first heard this song in January 89' lying under a car repairing it in a railway arch garage in Highgate London, and cried my eyes out, Had left home just a few weeks before in not great terms with my old man, probably something to do with my being a typical 21 Yr old, But thanks be to Christ we made up over the years and I got to be with him in the weeks before he died in 2016 (looking after him in the nights and chatting,laughing and spoon feeding him) and just made it in the door of my home house just a few minutes before he died and sent him on his way, I always know how privileged I was to be able to do it, Top Class & Timeless Band saw Paul Carrack in November 2019 in Dublin, floored me Take care Dennis Happy New Year Jack Vaughan Tipperary Ireland
