Well that was a short press conference lmao. But for real, if Tomlin was available, on the market, to be hired, every team with a vacancy (or even unhappy with their coach) would rightfully attempt to hire him. He's a great coach. But it feels like he needs a change as much as the Steelers do. I'm amazed how the Steelers have been able to be a successful regular season team for so long with their lack of QB play the last few years. But to get to that next level (& Tomlin can turn a new team into a Super Bowl contender) sometimes both parties need to walk away from each other.

Number one, he didn’t "storm out"! Number two, it's a silly question to every coach, in every league, every season. For Tomlin, specifically, Pittsburgh is lucky to even be in the playoffs with the rosters they've had the past few years. For other coaches, no matter the league, asking about job status, if they'll retire and other such questions makes zero sense. Those are behind-closed-doors conversations with ownership, coaches and players. Journalists thinking/ hoping for that answer when it hasn't been decided internally is foolish.

Both Dan and the other guy were wrong in the dog park situation.A person shouldn't be on the phone not paying attention while a pit bull is roaming free off the leash. You should be attentive and supervise your dog. The guy was wrong as well with the escalation. Escalation could be interpreted as violence toward the owner and the dog could have become aggressive "defending" Dan. Dan gets a C for being an inattentive dog owner. The other guy gets a D for complaining when it was clear that Dan was trying to remedy the situation.
