Its surreal to see these 2 talk about one of the most absurd moments in sports history like it was just another fight, between close friends. I also find it relieving for some reason, like it legitimately brings me happiness, to see the man Mike has eventually settled into. He gave so many of us, so many good times, exillerating nights spent with friends in awe, watching his amazing career unfold. I'm still a huge combat sports fanatic, UFC/Boxing, I love it all, but to this day, no single fighter has ever got my fight senses going more, that rising blood pressure, heightened awareness, that amazing, good variety of anxiety in your stomach, a state of body and mind any fight fan knows, when their guy makes that walk to the ring. Anyway, for all the good times Mike gave us all, I always hoped he would find his happiness, his good times, and everytime I see him on something, he truly seems to have found that place, he deserves it. Thanks again Champ! Big Respect to Evander for letting go of any animosity, and giving the whole thing that "life is too short" feeling, amazing.

Holyfield was just as dirty as Tyson. They were never no angels. Ever. What I love though is the fact that they have come together as friends and do not care what happened in the past. All that matters is love for your fellow man. They see it, I see it and I hope anybody out there who is beefing with somebody can put their anger aside and focus on what matters the most. Love and unity. Ain't nothing gonna break that.

***** Tyson was always a dirty fighter. He hit Mike Spinks in the mouth with a forearm, tried to break Francois Botha's arm in a clinch, attacked Lou Saverese while the ref was trying to break them. I can go on and on. Problem was though, like most bullies, he couldn't handle it when it was done to him. Holyfield roughed up Mike in both fights. I know Holyfield was no angel either, but Mike tried to intimidate Holy and couldn't.

Easiest thing to break, so easy, it's very fragile thing. All it takes is a little joke or side remark, and it's over, things are never the same again. Reality isn't like what you see on camera, this is for show. It's different. They wouldn't film it if was bad blood, they wouldn't agree to talking if it was. In real life people move on from people that bite their ears off, they don't make friends with them. They hate them for rest if their life and for good reason. It's different, because in real world someone bites your ear off that means fight to death. But this was just sport, for entertainment and for show. So easier to forgive and better to win public support points and continue their celebrity profile, which is directly linked to their future and present incomes.

This makes me smile. Moreso the fact that Holyfield can forgive, and im sure Mike apologized 1000 times over. Still doesnt make people forget, but you can forgive. For years Ali and Joe couldnt do this, and that feud was so bad that Joe said in an interview that Ali spoke so bad about him "being uneducated and not being able to speak, look at Ali now, he all twitching and cant even get a sentence out. Who looks dumb now?" When i sae that, I felt Joe hit a low blow. But looking back, Ali went way too hard on Joe just for a fight. The fact Mike bit a piece of Evanders EAR OFF and they can let it go shows true humanity.
