True it’s in his book the undisputed truth that’s why I love this song and will always love Tyson mostly because of his honestly and flaws for sure most ruthless champ ever

The night a young Mike Tyson stepped into the ring with Trevor Berbick, he could have been fighting a 40 ton bulldozer and he’d still have knocked it out. He was an unstoppable force of nature.

Yup. Pretty much up until Cus’ death didn’t matter who he fought it was over before it started. Cutthroat discipline, laser focus in and OUTSIDE the ring, for the most part clean personal life in regards to who he surrounded himself with, partying, etc. Dude was literally unbeatable during that time with the pieces he had in place…D’Amato, Rooney, etc. By the time he fought Douglas, Lewis, Holyfield, etc he had his best days behind him boxing wise. Cus and a lot of the lineup he came up with were dead or had moved on, and was in the thralls of a complete unraveling of drugs, booze, personal life, mental health, etc. Was already in that uncontrollable downward spiral when he fought Douglas, was just the first sign of the cracking and breaking and anything after that was just B rate, junk, shell of a Tyson all those other guys get so hyped about fighting and beating. Dude barely trained for a lot of those later fights, was an alcoholic, drug addict, etc and still showed up and went the distance in most of those loses. I know it was his own doing, but there undeniably was about a 4 year span, where nobody, and I mean nobody, Ali, Lewis, Holyfield, Douglas, etc would have beat him. Was a very brief window, but history and fate wrote it how it was though and obviously it was what it was. Tale as old as time.

I loved it, this was a great motivational tract, it uses the name the Lord, Jesus Christ Lord of Hosts is His name.
