he might be old but he still has 3 things going for him 1 being he's still intimidating 2 he still jumps halfway across the ring when the bell rings which adds to the intimidation factor that's always fucked with the opponents head and 3 last but not least the old son of a bitch still has a wicked powerful upper cut that many men on this planet can handle including Jake Paul the only thing that would be better then seeing him ko Paul would be knocking out his baby brother Logan when he steps in the ring to help pick up jake 💯💯🤣🤣🤣

I too remember one fateful day I went particularly hard on legs, went to failure on every set. Came to leave I had to bum shuffle down stairs because the handrail just wasnt enough I feared I might either shit myself or collapse. I distinctly remember the reception desk right at the bottom of the stair and the staff (One man, two women) there watching me amused as a then 20 year old behaving like a toddler. I said from near the top of the stairs "leg day" still amused they knew the deal. I still had to walk home over a mile uphill that day, I dont know how I managed.

When I was doing boxing in my early 20s, I remember having to do workouts that made me move the same way. Now, I will grant that he is near 60 and his body has less capacity to heal and recover than that of someone in their 20s, but with the grueling work outs he has been doing, I doubt I would be able to walk even at 20. He is a freak of nature.

As a guy in his mid 20’s, I struggle to walk up the stairs after leg day, so if mikes hit legs that could very well explain this. Think about his fighting style, there’s plenty of bend in the knees and his foot work is insane, so that must make his legs sore af. He’s not young anymore, there’s no arguing that, but I don’t think it’s an age related problem necessarily.

Give it an hour after a workout I’m like an 80 years old man crippled and scared to move around quickly in fear I’m going to injure myself doing basic everyday movements. It sucks getting old. Rest and recovery is so vital to staying fit and healthy. We all overdo it if we’re a true athlete.

Lol you people are delusional. The "fight" is an absolute clown show. I love Mike but it's nothing more than him chasing the bag. It's not 1990 anymore. Mike is almost 60 years old. He looks amazing hitting pads for 60 seconds. But you're a fool if you think he will look the same against someone that can hit back. Did you even see the rules for the fight? It's not a real professional match. It's an exhibition match, and the rules are there for Mike's safety. Doesn't matter who you are, getting punched in the head at that age is dangerous.

@cosmicbilly Especially after 40 of those years have been spent drinking heavily & taking mind altering drugs & smoking cannabis into your lungs. Mike's lungs will look like a smoked kipper on the inside. & goodness knows what the lining of his cranial arteries look like. Mike had lost his peak form BEFORE he faced Douglas in 1990. & he knew he didn't have any of the fire left 18 years ago & rightfully retired. Does he believe that the fire ever comes back at nearly 60??

I don't think it was a struggle but something more like avoiding injury. Jake could hop off backwards, spin off it, sidestep off of it...etc. His reaction time, viewing this alone, shows his age. I don't think he should be hopping in the ring with Jake. I HOPE he puts him down. It might sound dark but I'd LOVE to see Tyson switch off Mike and awaken the monster inside like he's done so many times before getting in the ring. To watch him connect with one good punch and see Jake stiffen up and bounce like a board off the canvas would be glorious.

I used to be able to climb multiple Billboards a day but now if i do a 90 footer or above that height I'm done! I can still climb 2, 50 to 70 footers in a day but I can only make it up one really high one in a day! I'm the oldest Billboard installer in the game as far as I know and I also do the best and cleanest installs! These young men today don't give a day if there are wrinkles or the vinyl is loose and then i get called in to fix their screw ups! People don't realize that we are old and we can't take the abuse on our bodies that we once were able to take! He’s stepping down off of a 3 FT. plank sized platform it’s crazy how no one considers that on top of the fact that he’s almost 60 years old and he’s getting ready to fight a guy that’s LESS than half his age and it’s probable Mike won’t make less than $50 million dollars for it and it’s going to be on Netflix which will be an historic event by being the first fighter ever to fight on the platform opening up the gateway of maybe Netflix possibly being the next home of boxing and I think that’s damn good for a “old man that can’t walk”. ESPN and DAZN just can’t figure it out with nothing but trash fights. It would be beautiful if Netflix bankrolls PBC and allowed them in to do what it is that they do. Prime only having 12 slots for PBC the entire year is just freaking ridiculous and far from enough dates on the calendar with all the great professional boxers PBC has in their stable just dying to get in the ring and after PBC arguably just having one of the best years in matchups in decades in #2023 since the 1980’s on Showtime they closed their doors on boxing after almost 30 years.
