The key to beating Tyson in the game is surviving the first 90 seconds of the fight. Every uppercut that he throws in that time frame will be an immediate knockdown. Afterwards, his punches will still hurt but they won't instantly knock you down. He will wink before he punches.

PrimapePlays You can beat Tyson without throwing a single punch in the first round. Just give him a beating in the 2nd so that he ends the round very low on stamina. That gives you plenty of time to knock him out with a TKO in the third.

You said in your original comment that it wasn't fair that he had lower health, but you can see in the video that he got TKO'd before Mike even stopped throwing the knockout punches. I had this game as a kid. I could get through all the levels to get to the dream match against Mike Tyson; but I could never beat him. His punches were set so hard that if you slightly mistimed one dodge or block, one Tyson punch knocked you down. You'd lose a lot of energy when you got up; and were vulnerable to be KO'd. I must have tried at least 25 or 30 times but got KO'd each time!
