I'm 98% sure this yet another instance of NASCAR screwing over Carl Long in an attempt to get his team to withdraw & eventually shut down. The "inactivity" excuse from NASCAR is phoney bologna because by that logic, every single surprise return in the Truck Series for the past 6 years would not have happened either.

I think MBM will not give up and will try to find someone else. I can think some drivers that they might get. Timmy Hill, David Starr, Chad Finchum, Matt Crafton, and Josh Bilicki

The only reason Mike Wallace was trying to attempt this Daytona 500 Because he's not in the Nascar Hall of Fame how far as I know he informed his brother he's not in the Nascar Hall of Fame and he says if he gets one more crack at the Daytona 500 he was told they will put him in the Nascar Hall of Fame and for next year in that's why he wanted attempt it.?
