Except that Greg has said on the show that he is quietly fascinated by this character he’s playing who says things like ‘crikey’, never swears and apologises constantly, when in real life he knows him as a very different person indeed, to which Mike looked embarrassed and said, ‘I’m trying to be a good boy on TV’ or something similar.

I think Mike may be the best and most simultaneously strange and excessively "normal" guest on any season, and any version, from any country that Taskmaster has ever had. He should be staring in gritty crime comedies. I can't tell if he is the perfect person to turn to if you need someone to help you with something, or a serial killer, or both. Fascinating and hilarious. I sometimes wonder if you are drugging him with something before each task. I predict him getting tons of work after this.

I didn't really know who Mike was before this series, but he consistently makes me laugh the most. Something about an awkwardly polite, moustache-wielding gent in a suit is apparently bones funny to me, and I'm very grateful to him for teaching me that.

Another first impression here: This man is a force of nature. He drew out each tedious part of that task as long as he could. For comedy, or TV, or just fun. Most folks would try to be clever in the easiest way possible n get each sentence done in a few monotone words. Instant fan.

This interview needs proper subtitles. Badly. KZbin's automated subtitles can't handle the first challenge. And I think Alex' microphone wasn't turned on.

Someone forgot to master the audio. The level is way too low. There is a lack of normalisation... which might seem appropriate for Mike, if low audio wasn't such an annoying result. Y'know, because he's not normal. Did I just try to make that joke? Yes. Also, here's another go.... someone on the social media team clearly forgot their task: master the audio!

If I did that, that spin of the wheel would really have changed my answer on the last one. The most lovely thing without prompting is sitting on the porch on a sunny afternoon. The most lovely thing while grinning and weeping... That's a person.
