Why do you remove the mirrors for road use? They’re pretty handy 😂

I put bars-ends on mine, they look way better.

@@Win7ermu7e exactly. No mirrors is dangerous and stupid. How are you supposed to get out of the way of a threat coming up behind if you can’t see it…

Ive done over 20K in 3 years. I must say apart from a leaky valve/gasket (i cant remember) which was fixed in a warranty/recall its beem solid. Although it took me a long time to know how enjoy compared previous bikes. Revs need to be higher than you'd expect OMHO for it be interesting - but im an average rider. can handle well once the OEM's have been replaced.

I've had mine since March. Same spec as your loan bike. I came from a Z1000SX. That bike was faster, but this is more nimble, comfortable and fun. I did 900 miles in 4 days from Kent to Yorkshire and it was great. It gets overshadowed by the MT09 and the Street Triple but it's a great bike in its own right and well worth a test ride.

Thanks for reviewing a often forgotten bike. I did several long tours on its predecessor f800. Yes, you don’t need a big bike to do big miles.
