You'd check the fuel and spark first, slowly building up compression is maybe low battery, I'd have got it running first prior to comp testing, most likely it was fine after warming up

Track temp here at Tskuba race circuit here in Japan last weekend was 55 deg its 42 in my workshop and lords knows the air temp....
