Paolo Nutini - Scream (Funk My Life Up) [Official Acoustic] filmed at Sam's BBQ, Austin, TX is a must for you guys

That is really good but the version he did on Later with Jools Holland might be the best live performance he’s ever done of it. I really love ‘Funk Up My Life’ but nobody who reacts to it, ever seems to recognise how utterly brilliantly clever the lyrics are🤷♂️

Paolo is my favourite ever ,and I'm no spring chicken. He's the best of the best, and his voice gets into your soul. I'd just like to mention my old favourite singer , Frankie Miller . He was another Scot who had the same soulful raspy vocals. Sadly, he had a brain aneurysm in the 90s. He was lucky to survive ,but was made extremely disabled .

If I may, Ginger's outfit is absolutely gorgeous! Regarding Paolo, I've seen him live in Paris in September, it was classy good. (amazing three concerts in a row in a couple months : Aurora, Paolo, then Eivor)

I always enjoy your totally honest reactions to anything you listen to. I think that some of the people who do song reactions don't give the artist/song a real chance if it's not from their preferred genres. I specifically like to hear Mike's reaction to and opinion of the songs you listen to. I am more than likely a sad old "Jock" to admit the following, but I get a real buzz and a sort of vicarious pride knowing that people like Paolo, Lewis Capaldi and Biffy Clyro are so well liked and regarded by people like yourselves and others from all corners of the globe(if that's possible, lol). Please don't ever stop doing what you do so well as you both brighten my day. Best wishes from a canny auld Scotsman.🤩🤩😄

You need to react to ‘lose it’ live at the bbc. The way the song builds to his incredible vocals st the end… will blow your mind.

The bit that doesn't sound like Paulo is Betty Lavette who did the original version.

It’s quite pretty but she’s shall we say ‘borrowed’ that melody from somebody else, I just can’t put my finger on who it is right now.
