@@KoiAcademy Hey hi 👋 brother. You are the person who introduced me to Notion. Your previous notion template was awesome, & I still today I am using it. Within 2 of months going to join to the college, and at this time your Notion template will be helpful for my higher studies, but it's a bit costly for me/us because it is 9000/- INR. I know you made this video in collaboration with Notion, but most of your subscribers were students and they may can't afford this subscription of Notion. I'm damm sure that this will be helpful for me/our higher studies, We are expecting that you may give free templates for limited time for your subscribers at least for a couple of days, this what our expectation.

You keep overcomplicating things because part of your job is to make it interesting, but we don't have time to learn all these nuanced systems. Just sticking to the basics works much better for most people, and it seems like you're looking for something to push. Honestly I know you don't shill remnote anymore, but a very simple todoist widget for note taking and thought storing throughought the day, and using remnote for all else is really helpful.

I took it a step further than this. I studied Mathematics in University. I would see what section was going to be taught next and what questions were assigned for homework. Before lecture I would work through the section myself and try to do all the homework problems. When I got to lecture I would have specific topics I didn't understand and questions I couldn't solve. That way I could pay attention more and only had to take notes on the sections I didn't understand and had questions prepared for lecture on the topic at hand. This helped immensely.

1. Studying as a system can achieve consistent transformational results. 2. The study process is broken up into three stages: preview, view, and review. 3. StudyQuest is a gamified experience that helps students organize their life and build a study system to reliably score higher. 4. Notion AI can be used to drastically cut down on study time by using skills such as the tea tree method and the layer method. 5. Notion AI can format text into a table and add additional columns for better organization.

At my university here in Scotland ever since everything moved to online due to COVID we have all our lectures in a pre-recorded online video format and then our tutorials are all on campus where we can ask for help and the lecturers can go more in detail if they feel it is needed or students want them too. I think it's by far a better way of learning as it means you can really take the time to go through the videos and take important notes instead of rushing to note everything down mid lecture and not really understanding it
@Hentai_Ouji

Back when I studied in Poland, lecturers restricted writing notes on some lectures, so we would be able to understand more information given and let our brain to transform it into an actual knowledge by giving it a moment to think about, and ask questions/ discuss it during the lectures.

Best comment of the video by far. No one needs a super complicated system for studying. A basic, simple strategy (that you expand in the future if you want to) will give the same results. I recommend everyone read *Learn like a pro by barbara oakley* (title is cheesy i know) and you will basically never need to watch another studying related video again. I swear, speaking as someone with a PhD in procrastination, someone that has watched pretty much every studying video on this platform, that this book summarizes everything (that actually matters and is sufficiently evidence based) in a nice, chapter based format. The second thing i recommend is the *zettelkasten method* , not using it myself (yet) but after reading learn like a pro it seems that the zettelkasten method covers a lot of modern, recommended studying techniques, even though it is a note taking system. use it with either *zettlr* or *obsidian* , two amazing productivity tools that actually help you actively in reaching your goals, unlike watching 50 studying-prudictivity videos .

@@universal5313 glad to be helpful. It's worth mentioning that you shouldn't just not watch ANY sstudying video at all, just that if you do, watch them only if: 1.- It's backed up by research, GOOD research, if it's based on papers with a pathetically small number of test subjects then it's good as nothing. 2.- You have to be sure the video is trying to be helpful, and not sell you a product. Obviously you can do both, just like study quest, but what usually happens with content creators the vast majority of the time, is that *profit comes first, helping out comes second* and you end up paying for a product that is not even worth it. Worst case? you just get scammed. That's it, once you keep this two rules in mind every time you watch these kinds of videos, you realize just how many of them are, ironically, just another time-waster.

@@bandana_rathore hi there I make q banks by reading the textbook and lecture slides at the same time to ensure I don’t miss anything. If it is something I don’t understand then I make the question broader and gradually move on to specific questions. I also watch short videos to help me understand the basics. If I don’t need to remember that point I skip the q bank on that. Only question myself on things I would get confused about like hormones or medications etc. another thing that helps is making notes on why the incorrect answers are not correct. Helps with recall.

I dislike the process of taking notes on my MacBook and prefer to handwrite during class. After class, I use tools like Anki. Notion AI is cool but I find that their AI-generated flashcards are not effective as the questions are not focused on the most difficult and important material. I appreciate your concept, but it seems too focused on the productivity tool, Notion. I would like to see a gamified learning experience that includes exercises, practice tests, drawing exercises, and an AI that provides feedback, rewards, XP, etc. I am tired of always having to install plugins to try to make my learning more engaging and would love to see a dedicated app or game that is specifically designed for learning, across a range of subjects, such as medicine, biology, and economics. I believe that if gaming brands invested in this market, they could create incredible learning experiences for students.

@@GigaChadL337 actually youre right. When these companies try so hard to pay off their loans by selling high quality products, it’s just disgusting. God forbid you pay off YOUR student loans once you start working instead of giving that money to the poor. Remember there’s a kid somewhere going hungry because you made that decision.

@@seeker131 Are you comparing a student with a company? Seriously? Also you did not answer to the fact "not every student is studying in the US"

Open AI is not always correct and the most resources lack of citation, if the robots creates most notes for us, I am not gonna pay attention to the classes.

I’m really curious how you edit your videos in such a cool way. We have a school project and it involves video log and editing and yeah it would be nice if I can edit my project just like yours 😅
