I found your videos around 11 years ago when I first started getting into photography. I learned so much from those videos and I must say I watched all of them multiple times. I somehow got disconnected from your channel as time went on and my photography interest decreased. Now I am getting back into the hobby and found your channel has changed from the more beginner videos and I love the photo biker series! One day I hope to visit your country and explore with camera in hand. Thanks for being awesome. Love this channel and I always recommend it to new photographers. One of the best instructors on youtube.

Loving the photobiker concept Mike. It’s inspired me to drag the Z900 out of the garage in the spring and get out with my G9 and ride around Indiana (flat and dull on the face of it) looking for things to shoot. If I get zero photos it’s all good - I get seat time in.

Another top video Mike, love the bike. I take loads of motorbike images as our town is on the local loop for bikes. I usually email the riders some shots and I just got a proper bike shoot, paid, job out of it. A Benelli. Back to you, what a gorgeous village that was. The castle might look good at sunset too with the venus belt behind it, the castle would catch the last rays of sunlight. Sounds good in theory....Look forward to the next instalment.

Hi Mike love your trips out .But don't you ever use grad filters ?
@MikeBrowne2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Keith. I do use a grad sometimes, but it's very rare. Although the sky was bright and could be brought down with an ND grad, I didn't like the emptiness of it. This was a research trip to figure out the location really. Now I know more about the place and how to approach it, I'll be watching weather forecasts for a warm sunny day, rain late evening or overnight followed by a chilly morning so vally fills with mist. A day of storms and sunshine would be good to.. Just got to get them to match my diary ... MIKE🤫😊🙏

Hello Mike, when and why do you decide to go with f 7.1 or f11 or f8? seems a bit arbitrarily or is there a logic behind? (I am fully aware of depth of field, but the difference in these shots between f7.1 or f11 are not that bit aren't they?) and why a shutter speed of 1/500 with ISO 250 on a whide angle lens (I suppose around 24 mm or so) when you could have gone for ISO 100 and shutter of about 1/200 or so? any specific reason for that?
@MikeBrowne2 жыл бұрын
Hi @DonBroccoli. No specific reason for any of them. The settings in this situation aren't doing anything creative as in managing movement / depth of field. They're only making an exposure so the combination used is unimportant provided it makes the image as bright or dark as you want it to be. Please take a look at my Masterclass In Photography online course which will give you complete clarity about this and so much more. It has 100s of 5* Trustpilot reviews and I personally guarantee it with a 100% refund guarantee... MIKE🙏😊 www.photographycourses.biz/courses/online-photography-course
@donbroccoli42742 жыл бұрын
@@MikeBrowne Hi Mike, thanks for your reply. I think my initial question was not that clear: why would you chose f7.1 over f8? after all, f8 (beeing a full f-stop) would seem more natural to choose than 7.1 What in your head makes you choose f7.1 in that moment? They both have, as you state, the same creative or exposure effect.
