His vocal is pretty good here actually. He delivers the vocal a bit richer than the album version. He was able to reinvent his vocal styles so much.. kind of chameleon like in vocals and appearance

Dean is so fucking on in that solo. He channels straight JP² energy. And by JP² I mean Jimmy Page x Joe Perry. Dean is way underappreciated. He could write beastly riffs but also arrange some wickedly ethereal chord progressions like on Sour Girl.

Just learning the solo to Between the Lines. Man Dean always manages to do something tricky with basic patterns... crazy bends, timing and speedy little licks tastefully thrown in at the right time. This band is definitely and going to remain a rock icon for the 90's and onward like the super groups of the 60's and 70's.

Why does everybody always expect LIVE music to sound exactly like the album versions? They're his fucking songs, he can sing them how ever he wants! Maybe he was sick or something and that's why his voice wasn't right on the way we're used to it. I saw them in Montreal a couple years ago right when they got back together and his voice, presence, the band, everything was awesome! I'm so glad this guy didn't become a rock n roll tragedy like Bon Scott, Hendrix and the like...

No I haven't seen them but it's my personal opinion. there are few old bands which doesn't exist now but these bands are some kind of legend. Maybe STP aren't legend at all but they're old albums were so much better then new one. I just think that they shouldn't play together. STP had great discography exept new CD. i think it's sucks, but as i said it's only my opinion.
