I’ve been thinking of getting a looper for a while, as a live performance tool (mostly so I don’t get bored playing for people who are there to drink and not interact with me). I’ve not considered how I could use it as a composition tool. Thank you for the inspiration!

I like your calm cool presentation. I've been on the fence a long time about getting a loop pedal and which one might work for me. Seeing someone with your playing style and ability to compose such beautiful music is a great help in the search for the right pedal. I'm still looking for a video that points out the ease of use. I'm a musician not a technician so that part is just as important to me.Thanks for the video and the wonderful music.

Thanks for this excellent review/tutorial. I have the RC-300 I bought for songwriting which I realize has an expression pedal and perhaps it more robust, but it’s bulky and daunting to me. Would this RC-300 pedal be better for composing songs with drums, bass, guitar, singing? Simpler?

i seen a digitech or a TC helicon pedal. it might even been a boss. & a lady was able to loop & build up a nice instrument backing track with bass, rythm guitar, and some gain/delay riffs, that sounded great in the mix. and she had other different effects added in the mix ie: chrous, reverb, ect. as needed. then she went on to start building a vocal grouping of some backup singers harmonizing some ohh' and ah la la's. then she saved that as the chrous of the song saved it, and built a similar but more gentle verse grouping and then she belted out some lead vocals & some kick ass lead guitar..in a call/ respond style... my question is what units do that wide of range of processing, it had what seemed to me to be everything you'd need. and will this boss rc500 handle vocal processing that does more than , mic an amp or an acoustic guitar. ? i see it has an XLR . but almost nobody talks about it.

Well done Video! For the Song at the end you're showing an octaver pedal. I am wondering if you are achieving this gorgeous sound made of deep bass notes mixed with finger picked arpeggiated tones (in their original octave sound) by THIS Pedal? I mean, are you playing everything one can hear live, or is there already a previously saved loop playing?
@joe-m35053 жыл бұрын

Hey Mike! I really dig your video! I was wondering, how did you manage to use a condenser mic with the rc-500 without feedback? Did you have any audio playback (like a click track, for example) or was it only you and your guitar while tracking? Thanks a lot keep on rockin man!!🤘
@BeefNEggs0573 жыл бұрын
That needs a full song. No doubt. Love your talent and humor. Yeah I tried the new ditto plus with the lcd screen and dub stretching gimmick. You can’t do past one dub because it lags a quarter beat or so at the beginning of the second dub. Unusable piece of trash. That boss looks awesome but the original ditto is what the budget prefers. When I’m big lol I can get it.

Hi 👋 Mike , thnx for yer videos . Amazing sound .. I had RC30 boss. Since it’s not working anymore .. it had a function ( donno what’s called ?) I could strum my guitar in rhythm and RC30 wud pick up the tempo of my strumming . And hi hat wud start . Rather than choose a rhythm first and then strum the guitar .. does RC 500 has that function ? Could it pick up the strumming . ? Tempo . Appreciate so much if you guide. Thanks
