This is really cool! Where did you get those shapes from? I don't have enough money for a die cutter of my own, so I either have to purchase those gear shapes or...OR, could I use found objects like springs, nuts, bolts, etc? Would the modeling paste secure metal gears and things to the canvas? Sorry if these are dumb questions, I'm new to the whole 3D mixed media scene. I'm going to go check out your other videos! :-)

As I love steampunk, I wonder how you cut the cogs, I have been looking for dies for cutting cogs for a while here in Germany, but cannot find any . I would be grateful for more information. Hi there as a newbie to mixed media please can I ask a question. I notice you use black Gesso. Is there any difference in the different makes or are they all about the same please. Also is acrylic paint best for adding coverage too. I notice you use a lot of indigoblue products, are these pure lay for colour choice or quality or both. Thanks for honest reply. Sue

Mike Deakin thanks Mike, I'm in Cambridge uk I am using iPhone. After my message to you I entered indigoblu on google and was given what looked like the same web address. It took me to the website with no problems. Although trying to Get there from the link on KZbin It still shows the same message. I sometimes think there's strange things happening with iPhones, My wife and I have occasionally received ads for things we've only SPOKEN about!
