I used no 3 on its own. I first shampoo hair, rinse then number 3, left it on for one hour, shower cap, then rinse then shampoo, lastly a hair mask that has protein. Then rinse and put on a leave in conditioner. It works for me. I have thick, damaged, color treated hair

Happy Christmas Mike! Thank you for your loveliness and informative videos! ❤️❤️❤️ Regarding Olaplex it works for me. Number 0 and 3 are my favourites, Shampoo and Conditioner I like but Shampoo I can't use every time as it builds up on my hair and a bit too heavy for me. And a Conditioner is opposite and is nice in between masks but not all the time as it is very light and as you said you need a lot of it. I love Smoothing Cream as a pre wash too. And an oil to add some nourishment in between washes but on its own is too light for me. I love Moroccanoil oil treatment much more.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on our products. We did want to let you know that our N°.0 and N°.3 do not offer any moisture or protein. They work solely to rebuild the broken disulfide bonds which give hair it’s strength. Our N°.4 and N°.5 are lightly moisturizing, but if you need more intense moisture our N°.8 Moisture Mask would be a better choice for hydration. 🫧💕✨

Thank you. I use no3 on it's own, leave it on for hour using shower cap. Helping my damaged, bleached hair, but expensive. I use redken hydrating mask. Works well. Will olaplex have a sale on products?

I think they don’t want number 0 in a mister type bottle because they said it was not designed to be airborne. It sounds like an inhalation thing. Another influencer I watch asked the company and that is what they said. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Found number 3 on its own works well. I too used a plastic cap, left Olaplex on for hour. Wow it does work on damaged, bleached hair. After washing hair used a leave in conditioner (pureology)

Olaplex # 4 and 5 doesn’t work for me because it’s heavy on my fine hair and weight my hair down. I’ll stick with # 3 only. There are other brands of bond building treatments that work better for me like Redken acidic and Bumble and bumble honey bond repair. I also tried the Curl Keeper treatment and like it too! Hope it helps with folks with finer hair ❤

I tried number 1,2,3,4,5,6. Number 3 was the best thing ive ever tried, and 6 the worst - it made my hair dry and it felt like cheap synthetic wig that got matted. I think only number 3 is worth it!

In your professional opinion, which is better, olablex or the redken acidic bonding? Merry Christmas Mike!!! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next year!!! I hope and pray that this doesn't offend you, but I LOVED when you was reviewing redkin acidic bonding (I think) and you COULD NOT get it to open. It was like watching myself! You just could not figure out how to open the bottle, and you just kept saying "alright then... just like that...well...? I don't know, it just kinda brought you down to my level for a second, and I LOVED IT!! I giggled the whole time!

I used Olaplex No3 for two weeks. Then I used Redken acidic bonding shampoo and conditioner. Once your hair healthy again take break form olaplex then continue using Redken acidic but always use a hydrating mask and a leave in conditioner. The mask for people with extremely damaged, bleached hair

I've just ordered the no 3 and I'm so excited to try it, it hasn't arrived in the mail yet but probably will next week! My hair is damaged so I'm hoping that it'll repair some of it 😊 I have hair down to my lower back so my only concern is that I'll probably burn through the 250ml bottle FAST...

I just wanted to add a Olaplex rep told me people with curly hair or thick hair should damp their hair lightly with water first before using number 0 to help spread it evenly. At first it was a no for me because with my curly hair I had to use to much. I’m still not sure if I will repurchase it but I hope that helps someone

Hi Mike can you do a video on the Olaplex scandal that's been quite a bit in the news, people are saying their hair is breaking off? Do you think it's just because people are over using their products? Maybe they're not meant to be used every week? Are they still safe once in a while? Because I do love the in salon treatment no and 1 and 2

I purchased some olaplex 3 and 9 as I have very damaged, breakage prone hair but I heard a lot about people having complete balding from it. Even those who only used one product and followed instructions.

I just looked this up on Redken website & it states 'citric acid is featured' in their formulation. Acidic bonding=citric acid? Are they serious? Citric freakn acid? No wonder Citre Shine isn't sold anymore. Someone figured out to separate Citre Shine's 2-step(shamp & cond), $30 'system' into a 4-5step $100+ 'system'. Fyi, I LOVED Citre Shine. It was the only stuff I used in the 90's. It was nothing but plant & flower extracts with citric acid... I've always read labels. My hair was awesome all the time from using it. No heaviness, as I have fine hair...no build up. Just awesome products. Their shine serum didn't even weigh my fine hair down .

Hi dear, I love your blonds, what color products do you use for the roots and the hair? I’d like to achieve that gold with little white(ash) on my level 9 blonds. Last time I used beige blond toner, it turned in green, I finally washed that tint and have a raw yellowish level 9 blond. Thanks

Good review 🎉 I love #3 and it makes my hair stronger and soft (lots of bleached hair here…). #0 is good, but my uselvstendig hands and arms hurts like a b****, so water is good enough 🤷🏼‍♀️ I cover my hair with a plastic shower cap and leave it in for hours. Shampoo and conditioner is ok, but my hair gets a bit too frizzy unless I use #6. With that it looks good.

I have fine, dry and curly hair and Olaplex didn't work for me, no repair whatsoever. K18 instead did a very good job and I personally think, Olalex is just a hyped up product and you should always find the right product for your personal hair type...

Olaplex repairs bonds, it does not give hydration to your hair. You have to use a hydrating mask afterwards if you need hydration also. If your hair is not damaged you will not see any difference by using Olaplex. K18 on the other hand has hydration and repair , 2 in 1. No need to use a hydrating mask afterwards. Because it has hydrating properties even if your hair is not damaged , you will see a difference with K18.

Olaplex is a bunch of plastic packaging with little content. Extremely overpriced. Maybe this series once had its raison d'être to start something new. I think the sales success goes back to a good advertising strategy and the fact that Olaplex pioneered bonding products. Meanwhile, there is Redken Acidic Bonding Series and that relegates Olaplex to the history books.
