Do your rpm go higher when you dont have the silencer on the exhaust, the moment you turn your ninja on? like 3.000 rpm instead of 2-2,300 where the normal is..?

Nice bike, definitely a gas saver compared to my 10R and good for starters, I would have loved to have something like this when I was learning instead of the 250cc scooter that I had ....... Hope u upgrade to a Zx6r and pimp it out the same way

most exhausts or mufflers have a DB decibel killer or a silencer. it basically just reduces the noise. its up to you you can keep it on or remove it and they're normally really easy to remove. listen to the difference or when he had it on and removed it. hope that helped.

As worlddxb stated, it's just a noise killer. Most motorcycles have rather chunky and heavy exhausts that sound a bit, well boring really. Saving a few KG's, making a better sound and some added sex appeal to your bike is what the whole exhaust thing is about. :D Although, before making love to the exhaust you should make sure it's cooled down a bit!

more bass doesnt mean its better leo vince is very loud, so if you like quieter growling exhausts the akrapovic does that and if you want even quieter it comes with the silencer and if you like clean looking cf weave if you want annoying bass with some backfiring sound, hey look at me then get the leo vince its also a little shorter and with the mounting strap where it is just doesnt look balanced on the bike if you take that into account too

which exhaust note you enjoy is strictly a personal opinion so in general nobody is right.. it's to each his own. Personally, in my opinion that Leo Vince sounds 10x's better than the Akrapovic, dont get me wrong.. that Akrapovic sounds damn good, just in my opinion Leo Vince sounds throatier, if that makes sense.

HolyBookProductions You're completely right, in all of American there aren't any twisties at all. We don't ride sport bikes here, just 1000cc+ Harley's for the open road.

Bellator Gaming Dude dont take me wrong here! i know that there are cool locations (oviously). but i was talking about in general, there arent alot of twisities around like California, Kansas etc..; and that the fun of a sports bike is not the speed, but the curves you take with that speed.... I live in a city, but only 10 minuts later i am in the mountains and have a awesome road to drive on...... American roads are just sooooo big (large). If i would live in America i would probably buy more like a Impala or something, not a sports bike. Just because america is too biug and you have to drive far to get into really good roads.

Noone said anything about down grading. Two different bikes. Cant you tell one was matte gray and the other was white. The akro is loud I wasnt full throttling it. The leo vince is more of an annoying lawnmower loud.
