I grew up next to Griffiss AFB in Upstate NY. You haven't experienced anything until you have about Ten Buffs fly over your house at about 3000 ft during an alert . You'll never forget it .

My thought too. Still flying in 2020's and slated to continue service until 2050. The B.U.F.F. and the C-130 will fly forever. Don't fix what ain't broke.

Nothing is as awesome or awful as the b52s job. Even without nukes it is the most devastating weapon ever built. Well except the b2. The b2 is scarier because no one will see it coming and it's getting a replacement in a few days.
