I was at the dentist and she was saying that she's like a mason, only taking out the loose stuff. She also did the mud trick to match my tooth color and tore a chuck of sponge right out of the chair to wipe my face off. I was not concerned at all. Thanks Mike, another great video!

Had some work done on my driveway and the contractor had another contractor to do a 4'x4' patch. If I would have known the guy was going to charge $400 and leave a 4x4 reflector on my driveway I would have done it myself. What a Rip Off!!! Thanks for the video Mike, unfortunately it came a little late! You're the Best!!

I have one 3' section of sidewalk that needs repairing. I've watched about a dozen videos looking for a fix, and the majority of those I've watched require expensive tools to complete the 20-step process they described. "First, get out your bobcat and remove the slab..." Yeah, no. YOUR video is exactly what I was looking for: quick, easy and very uncomplicated. Thank you very much for this.

You are amazing brother and perform like Picasso. I am 35 but I've learned from all older guys growing up and still stick to the old school mostly that's why I enjoy your videos so much. Would love to work a couple days besides you doing anything in the masonry trade. What would you resurface over a concrete patio that someone put either roof cement or something like over concrete in different spots where cracks were. It is hard as hell in certain spots and I already got all loose off. Would love your opinion. Hope to hear back from you.

I never followed in his foot steps sadly, but i understand the how difficult the job can be and what it does to ones body. my pops is 61yo, had a double bypass done a few years back and had a stint put in a month ago. the damn bastard gets up a week later and still laying bricks and concrete

@@MikeHaduck just got a notification about this comment today. My pops started back in the mid to late 70s to pick up extra cash. He went to school for mechanic trades but one of the guys he did work for asked if he wanted some money and took my father as an apprentice for a few years. After my sister was born in 81, he picked up a state job doing masonry. He hold the #1 spot for masonry, until 09 when the MA Governor Patrick "retired" the block for masonry. But a few years later got a call back from the state offering a Mason spot at a public health hospital which he's been for quite some time.

for debris that came out in the clean it all out - why not put the debris into a bucket of water? - then washed chunks back into the hole rather than bricks? For the dirty debris water -use that as the stain - as in theory matches material already there? -Always enjoy watching the process.

Hey Mike, I've seen you paint things with mud, I've seen you paint things with portland, but I wonder if you've ever tried painting with the RapidSet on the sidewalk to give it an even color (and then tint the whole thing with mud?) Or is that a bad idea? Doing my own sidewalk pretty soon I think
