I’ve seen some nice comments about the sound quality. I actually mixed and mastered this myself, so thank you! I had fun recreating the gated reverb and backwards reverb used on the drums in the original as part of that signature Phil Collins drum sound. And it definitely helped that Gilson sent me amazing sounding files to work with. Thanks as well to Bryce for recording his own part.

Mike has a unique ability to reproduce some of the nuanced sound of the original artist. That’s a real talent. So many artists do stuff that’s so different and that’s okay in its own right, but doesn’t evoke the memories.
