Mike, in Pipe Dream you want to use as little number of pieces as possible. If the distance is 16, the idea is to only use 16 pieces. For every piece you lay down that the the water doesn't flow through, you're losing those points at the end. You were finishing rounds with zero points because you were just dumping unused pieces all over the board. You need to be frugal in the number of pieces you use.

I agree. I was surprised with how much you can do in the game with such small and funny characters; specially for an old game like this one. You can even repel objects thrown at you and throw enemies that lie on the floor.

Pinbot was made after an actual pinball game table. It's easier to see what's going on if you watch a video or play the actual pinball game. It also had a sequel called Bride of Pinbot. Probably the best pinball games ever made. Also, if you didn't notice, that game on the NES was made by RARE, while the pinball table is a Williams table. Both, the top signs of quality. Pinbot was one of my favorite NES games growing up.

You can shape shift into an animal based on what weapon you are using in Ninja Crusaders. The shuriken turns you into a tiger who moves fast and can jump really high, the chain thing turns you into a scorpion which controls well underwater (for some reason), the staff turns you into a bird which flies over enemies and lets you get that sword in the first level. And the sword turns you into a dragon which is invincible and lets you fly past sections of the level. The game isn't great but I like the shape shifting aspect and the 2 player co op is always cool. Also, I think some of the music is really catchy.

- It's funny you skipped over RoboCop 2 and 3 because they're arguably even worse than the first game (but you CAN jump in both games). RC2 uses the same engine and graphics as Darkman, while RC3 is really short but also hard as balls because you have no continues. However, the title screen music for RoboCop 3 is legit one of my favorite songs on the NES. You can listen to it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGiYZZKXlMZ0fqM - Each time you die in Nightshade you get put into progressively harder to solve death traps. They basically serve as "lives," and the final trap is completely inescapable. For the first one you need to kick the off switch with your foot when it's in range of it. The combat system is probably the game's worst aspect, which sucks because it's an otherwise decent point and click game. - In Ren & Stimpy: Buckaroos, the first level (and every Space Madness level after that) is actually an escort mission. You have to get Ren to the yellow door, and you better make damn sure you use the spring item to get him past any of those teleporters you see, because the game WILL force you into that Shmup minigame every time you want to pass through one.
