Wow Could not have been more off the mark on Body Harvest. It was the testing ground for the multi vehicles game play later done in GTA3. The whole game revolves around all kinds of stuff that you can take over.

I LOVED Body Harvest! So many different vehicles from different time periods to appropriate! Great music, too, I think. Such chill but somewhat eerie ambience when exploring and not in full combat. Got to Russia in the (still?) future but didn’t have time to get far. Too bad. I was looking forward to the more futuristic vehicles.

Forsaken is great, the trick to the controls is that the c buttons strafe left right up and down and the stick is mostly for aiming and turning. They're fantastic controls once you play around with it. It's all about collecting powerups, and after you die they stay and you can recollect them for your next run. Limited lives and continues and a good difficulty curve, it's beatable but pretty hard, you'll need to find what levels give extra lives and farm a bit, or at least I did.

blast corps is awesome, i remember buying it when i was younger and it has so much replayability dozens and dozens of stages using different combinations of vehicles, some of which are only unlocked after collecting all of the light-up beacons on the ground (like collecting notes in banjo kazooie), or destroying all buildings, or by clearing the mission quickly and the challenge gets really hard after a while - could never get all platinum. definitely got my money's worth though
@EarlFaulk4 жыл бұрын
The developers definitely made a mistake with one of those platinum trials though. Its the stage that has you push square blocks into holes to stop the carrier from exploding when it hits those massive potholes. They calculated the time as if you had to do that to "clear all buildings" but if you just cleared all obstructions and set the ships up the right way to provide a bridge at the end you could get platinum with 3 minutes to spare while ignoring those massive square holes.

The plot to Battle Tanx is bizarre: In 2001, a virus has killed 99.99% of the females on Earth. Various countries fight over each other's quarantine zones, and end up engaging in nuclear war, destroying much of civilization. The few remaining females are held by gangs who have taken over small pieces of the world. The main character, Griffin Spade, had his fiancée Madison taken away from Queens, New York by the U.S. government. Griffin ends up separated from his fiancée, and New York City is destroyed. He claims a tank for his own and sets out to cross the United States to find her, battling gangs as he reaches his goal. After surviving the ruins of New York City, Griffin heads westward gaining recruits in the countryside, Chicago, Las Vegas, and San Francisco.

Mission Impossible on N64 is good but it’s more like a Splinter Cell game then a Bond game. Everybody wanted Mission Impossible to be another Goldeneye shooter just because both franchises are about spies and Goldeneye left such a huge impression. But Mission Impossible was always about team work and sneaky espionage not a first person Arcady shooter. The game really is it’s own thing which captures the spirit of the franchise rather decently.
