** Well guys, let's go do one of my favourite jobs on the farm, and that is some recreational tillage!
** I sprayed out some seeded down grass/alfalfa (been seeded for 10+years) over the course of the summer, and now rolling in with Protill to break it up and prepare it to plant for the 2021 season.
** I have enough videos uploaded to KZbin to keep us going for next couple weeks haha, so if you are interested in staying a little more up to date, than check me out on Patreon, as that's what I use for my social media account 🙂

THANKS GUYS, YOU'RE AWESOME! 🙂

Hey there Mike. For your issue with the TMS. I Ran a Lot of tillage with a 933 Fendt in Ontario. I Set the rise and lowering of the implement on the Stop and Go. I then programmed the rpm memory to engage with the lowering of the implement and disabled it five or ten Seconds after that. This way the tractor never lowed down or dropped the rpm after turning around on the headland
@ED4038
@ED4038 3 жыл бұрын
You can set a minimum rpm (and when the tractor should hold it, f.e. PTO, hydraulic, or driving) in the Terminal via the tms menü. That could avoid the second, until tms knows that it needs Power.

The usual rule of thumb that is used here in Australia for something like that is ten horsepower per Tyne foot . This is based on experience with soil types and also the Nebraska tests from years ago. With this being the case and all things being equal, you would only be able to use a fifty foot sowing rig especially if your using pro and hydraulics to drive thinks. You could try getting it repowered on farm to to the tune of 25%-30% there are mobs over there that do that. Even if you bought a case or stiegers tractor on tracts or law wide tyres of a similar power you might not gain much as you would expect

That's a smart fuel system Mike. Takes all the concern out of employees wanting fringe benefits. Frustrating for employers. Great explanation on the hp per shank, makes sense. I can see why that 1050 may be going down the road. I wouldn't want to be the local CO-OP manager when their upper management watches this video and sees what shape their equipment is in. No excuse for that, put down your coffee cup and do what you are being paid for! Good on you Mike for documenting it. TOG out!!

@musikmaan
@musikmaan 3 жыл бұрын
Oh man... I and many others have mentioned this, but Mike has no interest in the Delta Track for some reason. @strykerk992
@strykerk992 3 жыл бұрын
@@musikmaan yeah that dosent make sense cause I thought the 9r runs on the same cummins qsx15 that the versatiles do, the difference is the transmission and track system because the versatile has cat transmission and it has a different track setup without the "gearbox" to the drive sprocket
@musikmaan
@musikmaan 3 жыл бұрын
@@strykerk992 ya... I agree... he’s mentioned it in one of his Q&A videos... he’s not a fan of the Cummins in the Deere either, but admits the software could be different in the Versatile. I’m not a farmer, and really have not idea on either, but I have operated a good amount of heavy equipment, as well as done a lot of research on tractors and I truly believe the Delta Track is probably a superior machine, and Versatile should really drop one off at Mikes place for him to fall in love with.
