Very happy to see you wear your seat belt. Another farmer I watch just went through the window. He hit a bump the front went down and the combine went up and over it and he bounced around the cab and he flew through the front window.. luckily 2 wires in the bouncing came apart and before the combine could run him over it stopped.. he survived with minimal injuries..

nice to see you mentioned seat belts in farm machinery came across a new farming channel to me . the operator got ejected out of the cab of a combine with a corn header on he hit something in the road about 20 mph the header came off and he ran it over the combine came to a sudden stop and out through the window and on to the road he went he was extremely lucky to only suffer minor injures this happened in the states recently

Great video Mike thanks, our 2012 NH CR8080 has a rock trap you can open and close from the cab and it tells you when its full/has a rock in it. Never given us an issue - good systems do exist. When you first talked about it I was surprised the Ideal 9/10 don't have them as standard! If you ever get a chance give one a go or look at it online I think you'd be impressed with the system/mechanism. It works off of a beefy locking solenoid and the raising and lowering mechanism of the header.

E F working the Vario joystick on a Fendt tractor makes people nervous as well. It’s all about learning how to work the equipment before operating. Basically comes down to; you need someone to teach you the controls. Fendt machinery is advanced compared to the competition. I’ve been teaching rookies at work how to operate Fendt Vario tractors close to 15 years now. It feels natural once you get the hang of it but it has a bit of a learning curve.
