Just a little question, how much diesel per hour were you getting through with the ten combines and chasers , guessing 2000 litres , so for those of you out there that don't know much about farming the equipment in the field costs about € 7.5 million and about €10 grand a day for diesel alone and the farmer gets about 2 cents out of a loaf of bread, and these are probably the most efficient tillage farmers in the world.

Hi Mike, I repeat my question from the last video: Could you give us an overview what your usual crop distribution is? Like: 20% Lentis 20% Canola (havn't seen any) 40% durum wheat 15% chick peas... And what else you might grow rye, oat, barley.... Thank you a lot!
@mikemitchell25544 жыл бұрын
🤔 That's a tough question, because it's completely dependent on market prices. We try keep a 4yr rotation chickpeas, durum, lentils and either back to Durum or wheat or canola.. Can't really grow barley, or canola well down here.. Needs more moisture.. Lentils, chickpeas, wheat and durum are the big crops. Then depending on the prices are the %%. But runs year was more like 35% lentils, 15% chickpeas, 12% wheat, alittle canola and the rest durum

Thank you very much! It is very different from our harvesting here in middle europe. I am suprised how long your season is. We usually only have 20days in the Summer... Congratulations that you finished. But I hope the videos won't stop now :) Btw, I was suprised you could use 790hp. I had the chance to run the 8900 more than once and also saw the 10T. We had none of them at Engine power limit... And even if you hate too many sensors, I bet you would like the 8900 for its automation (and the suspended tracks :D ) Maybe next year, haha. Will you ever reveal where you got the Claas hat from?
