You don't actually clean the seed..it means to separate all the foreign material so you have just seed
@RoisinT24 жыл бұрын
And this way drills work better without plugging and for the more its no use to drill any shit, just what grows and gives you profit.

@@RoisinT2 so pure seed, cool. I gather that the seed is purchased and then you need to seperate it? Or do the seeds go bad / break during storage?

Mike, Fasse valves makes great hydraulic boxes where you can get two extra outlets on the back of your tractor and you won't ever have to unhook those hoses to put your auger up. I have a extra one on my farm that came off my John Deere 4450. Sure we could work something out if you like me to send it up. Keep up with the awesome videos.

Many questions!! First how many bushels do those hopper bottom bins hold ,2nd how do you decide which grain you're going to clean for seed , 3rd how come all the augers and conveyers instead of a central leg and dump pit and overhead loadout bins , 4th did you say it was one and a half hours one way to the terminal 5th do you use any of the grain out of the bags for seed or are you emptying any of those yet sorry so many but inquiring minds need to know !! Sorry weather has sucked , not bad here harvest progressing fast !! Never out grow a snowball fight !!
@mikemitchell25544 жыл бұрын
#1 around 5000bu, #2 we just start cleaning what we think we might be seeding according to our crop rotations. #3 our augers prb cost 25,000 maybe.. Haha vs legs a few hundred grand.. #4 the terminal is near 100miles away, and we try for 3 or 4 loads per truck a day!... #5 we are hauling the bags out to the terminals and yes we can use what's in the bags for seed too

haha. Hi mike, just saw the words seed cleaning and was hit with a serious amount of PTSD. I'm a farmer from western Australia and we farm about 50,000 acres.
