Hey Mike you ain’t lying when you said bad things will happen if you put your foot in the auger. Did that in 1987 and it still hurts!

Hey Mike. So something I've started using behind the sweep is a leaf blower. No more sweeping with a broom and alot less shoveling. Hope it helps a little bit. Have a safe harvest

What you should do with the bars over the bin auger is make them removal and put them in when you go in the bin and pull them out when you fill the bin. Best of luck with harvest.

Have you ever consider using plastic snow shovels/scrapers to move the grain when you get to the bottom of the granary? They are pushing more grain rather than shovelling, so scrapers would be more efficient.

Greetings from sweden! We hear a lot about all the wildfires in Canada here and I would like to hear you speak about it. We hade a huge fire here some years ago and what I've read our total area in that fire is burning down every third hour in Canada. Please inform us Scandinavians a little! Love to the best KZbin farmer!

I don't know how work safe operates in Canada but in Australia if an employee put his foot in the auger and lost his foot where you removed the bars it would cost you $100,000's

Yea same over there as well, pretty much all first world countrys have the same rules, We actually had the slackest rules in the world for a long time, or I should say for the employer, anyway, it used to be most things were the employees fault but it's switching to be 100% on the employer

We've all been waiting 5 or 6 years for a lexion demo. Lee has insider pull now he better get you an 8700 to compare with your x9. I guess theres no real reason to try one if their trade prices are garbage like usual.
@Sixinthefield
@Sixinthefield Жыл бұрын
Why not an 8800?
@stirv6462
@stirv6462 Жыл бұрын
@@Sixinthefield Because when he goes to trade for a new x9 1000 the trade price for the 8800 will be about $250,000 more than deere. Then the claas salesman will say "well really our 8600 can keep up with an x9. You might even be able to go to a narrow body." Then Mike will laugh and say it sure was a waste of time to demo a claas. So it doesn't really matter if he gets an 8700 or an 8800.

@tonihelminen7405
@tonihelminen7405 Жыл бұрын
Yes, canola is an oilseed, and theres a few of those small balls in each shell, shed or pod or whatever you call them. Pretty much a same than fresh peas, If you ever eaten them you know, 2 to 6 If those tiny balls on each shell. And a lot of those shells on every canola Bush makes The yield. Can tell from Finnish pov, 1,4 tons per hectare is prettymuch a break Even, 3 tons per hectare is a money maker.

Anything that affects supply or production changes prices of the commodity. Without the war overall prices would be lower especially with crops grown in Ukraine.

Selfishly i would say yeah its benefited us as the commodity prices have been up and we are getting paid a bit more for are grain and meat. But the problem is all does is raise the prices for the stuff we need to produce a crop.
