Great video! I own both headphones and obviously I've had the Airpods Pro longer. The only feature on the Airpods Pro that is better than the Buds Pro is the ANC having a slight advantage but not by much. When it comes to working out, both headphones are going to slide out of your ears because of the silicone tips being so slippery when you're pouring sweat. I would say the Buds Pro hold up a little better than the Airpods Pro because your ear canals help secure the buds in place but you're still going to be adjusting them back into your ears constantly no matter which pair you go with, mainly when you're jogging or doing intense workouts causing you to sweat like crazy. Overall, the Buds Pro are a way better set of ear buds based on the performance in almost every category. You can't go wrong with the price for the quality you're getting and eventually the price will drop later on down the road opposed to the Airpods Pro that have been stuck at the same price for a year and a half. From what I've noticed, it all depends on what kind of phone you have. If you're an Apple user then you're going to have Airpods and Android users will likely use almost any brand of headphones whether it's Samsung, Sony, Bose, Beats, and even Airpods. I have a Note 20 Ultra so of course I went ahead and bought the Buds Pro and so far they've been excellent. All of the features are super impressive. I think Samsung did a great job with the Buds Pro. The ANC could've equaled up to the Airpods Pro but I'm extremely satisfied nonetheless.

I have some Galaxy Buds Pro and I got some foam ear tips for them off Amazon for $10 and they made a big difference. They help hold them in your ears better and also since the foam expands in your ear unlike the silicone tips that come with them. Also because the foam tips seal in your ears completely it makes them sound much better and give you better base and clearer sound! So I definitely recommend getting some foam ear tips for your Galaxy Buds Pro!

I think it's worth mentioning the fact that with the Galaxy Buds Pro you can turn up & down the volume, double-tapping on the edge of the right one will turn it up and double-tapping on the edge of the left one will turn it down. With the AirPods Pro however you have to use Siri, you cannot use the stems to turn up or down the volume.

While many complained it doesn't stay fit, it actually fit snuggly in my ears. So comfortable it's better than Buds+. Battery life buds+ is better tho.

Great review! A little tip. I think you should've matched the audio level for the indoor test. Studies show that people associate loudness with quality, so the louder mic in a 1v1 test will benefit from that loudness bias. Back to back the airpods sounded louder so i thought they were better at first, but with the sound cancelling the buds are doing and other factors that affect loudness level (e.g. software) I decided to turn the volume louder for them and they sounded just as good as the airpods. I like the Air Pods design better than the Air Pods Pro. I don't think they look like mini blow dryers, as some have said, but I guess I can see the similarities. I've just ordered the Galaxy Buds Pro and am interested to try the new product. I personally appreciate having the Air Pods' stem to use to hold on to them with. I like how the original Air Pods were just the Apple Ear Pods but with no wire. Classic, iconic design. The new Air Pods made the stem much smaller and changed the shape of the buds overall. I used to think that Air Pods would fall out of my ears and get lost, but that's never happened - not even once in over two years of ownership. These new Galaxy Buds Pros? We'll see about their fit. Looks like it'd be kind of awkward to hold on to, but hopefully, I'll be disproven as I was with the Air Pods.

@@namnta the lack of multi-device support, ear fatigue, somehow worse mics when riding (worse than regular buds, during calls) and shape of case (I would've wanted something with a smaller opening/door, like the apple ones, as I've dropped these a few times, while being in a hurry) make me question the price (that I paid) sometimes. Everything else is on point though. The sound is balanced, the app is great, the ambient mode is excellent, ANC is solid enough, the buds are lightweight and the battery life is excellent. Love the IP67 rating. Fast charging would've been great though. For $129 (as quoted by a user above), it is a no brainer. Still own the regular buds, for when I need to switch devices (Samsung to Apple) quickly, or when I know I'm gonna doze off soon with a pair of earphones in the ears.

I love the Buds Pro when I have them in my ears! As long that you don’t move your head, you are no eating, or moving at all. Very uncomfortable, they fall way easy. Because I have to adjust them all the time, the accidental skip, stop and activate or desactívate the ANC is the norm while wearing them. Sounds is great, but useless if you are in the move.

Watching on my galaxy buds pro! Let me tell you something. They sound amazing and please do not worry about the way they fit cause i was concerned before I bought em. Change the medium ear tips to the small if needed and itl be comfortable and thed stay in your ears perfectly. If you have a Samsung device go to sound settings and get the adapt sound adjusted for you! Its simply amazing. Enjoy!!!

I’ve had my AirPods Pro since release and I can say they’ve been functioning properly since day one. I like them cuz sometimes with the transparency you can be fooled that they are not in your ear. Working out is fine since they never fall out and I like the stem pinch since it simulates a press and an audible click is heard and you never accidentally pause from touch sensors. The stem is kinda ugly but I’ll take the performance over looks. I never had the Galaxy Buds but this is just my experience with AirPods:)

while yes the galaxy buds pro work with anything, it's a bit more inconvenient to use airpods with androids so I would say unless there's some really good deal on either, just go with whatever ecosystem you're currently in. Obviously this wouldn't be the case if one was way better than the other, but they trade blows for the most part so just go for the convenience.

They work incredibly well for Android and Windows as well! I've been using the AirPods lineup for years and never had an issue with using them on different platforms. @@namnta The comfortability is a lot better than what he states in the video. The oval shape fits right into your ear creating no wind gaps. So noise cancelling is great. The sound quality is a tad bit better on the XM3 buds, however, with an equalizer and Samsung's bass boost option, they are about equal. And the battery life lasts ages. I have only charged my case once over the past month. And I use these buds quite frequently.

I got rid of my iPhone 11 pro which was my first ever iPhone and purchased the OnePlus 9 pro, back to Android ❤️. My airpods worked better and sounded more clear with the OnePlus 9 pro then they did with an actual iPhone. I bought the Samsung Galaxy buds pro recently and absolutely love them. I bought them for aesthetics as i don't want to have noticeable headphones on. I do notice a much better noise canceling feature with the airpods, but I'm getting used to the Samsung and I'm very happy with them.

Fact that matters is that if you got android, use Sony, if you got Samsung, use galaxy buds pro (or further pro versions), if you got iphone, then use an AirPod. Seriously, i got Samsung galaxy buds and iPhone users will hate to use them on their iPhone because the Galaxy wearables app isnt available which lets you customise your earphone sound quality and all. Mine is always on "Clear" and i use dolby atmos at "Auto" and the quality is absolutely mind blowing. Though there is latency in response and i think it is because I... may have used them in rain a little bit. Though mine are the very first galaxy buds. So, these pros will defo be much better than mine. I will defo buy them in few months

Update: I bought the Galaxy Buds Pro. The Quality for sound and mic output is insanely good. The auto volume decrease feature when your voice is detected works amazingly. Although turn this off if you're using them in the gym as it will pick up heavy breathing and keep muting your music. The ambient mode is like using the directional mic in MGS2, you can hear everything 👌🏻😅 Waterproofing is ideal for runs in the rain or a sweaty workout. Takes a small bit of getting used to the fit. Kind of have to slide them in and then twist. After a week I had it down and they stay put. Worth the money.

My Buds Pro actually improves over time, they sound really good with punchy bass and crystal clear trebles. The ANC works really well now compared to when I had them early in the year.

I believe so, there is seamless switching between a samsung phone and tablet for example.

Very good review as always. I think the galaxy pro have better microphone quality, but (I am a S10+ user) for me the airpods pro are a better option. What I priorize in a pair of earbuds are comfort, noise cancelation and estetics. I consider the airpods pro are a litter comftier because I do not like to push the earbuds into my ear (I was expecting samsung to include the wing tips as in the buds+) and the airpods pro is like they are resting in your ear and they do not go that inside your ear. The noise cancelation is superior just for little. And about the estetics I think there is no winner; I like the look of the airpods pro, but I do not like they are only avaliable in white because I prefer colors more subtle.

Personally, it’s not a problem for me tho. I have an iPhone and I’ve been using Galaxy Buds Live for almost 2 months now, and I find them pretty great! Tho it doesn’t support notifications reading, it has all the features just like with an android phone by simply downloading the Galaxy Buds app

@@ravinket1301 I just wished the galaxy buds live fit my ears at all, I've never once been able to use the ANC on them properly. No isolation whatsoever, and the buds live keep disconnecting even because they literally move around in my ears... I've switched away from android since so I don't intend to get the buds pro, but it's awesome that they seem pretty good. Only waiting for a battery improvement in TWS earbuds at this point, since mics and ANC are pretty good now.

@@mimou7200 Yeah, that happened to me the first month, too! They are completely different from traditional earbuds, and I can understand why that happens. When I was first using them, I tend to push them very hard and deep into my ears and not only did they hurt my ears, they didn’t even sound right. Now I only need to make sure I don’t push them too deep and that the mic hole is visible. The thing with Buds live ANC is that it claims to be active noise cancellation while practically it’s not really. I’d say they can cancel only low and medium frequency noises, but you can still hear very loud noises and people talking

@@ravinket1301 The sound "quality" was just not for me to be honest, and because of the design there's not even any passive noise isolation. I still really like the fact that they even tried to do make this form factor work, but yeah nah Just really hope ANC TWS earbuds get better and better battery over time! would love to have a pair that lasts me a full 12-hour flight without recharging for example. Probably still a long ways off...

Great review. Would you agree that if you have an iPhone you have a choice but if you are on Android you should really go with the Samsung as you just lose too many features with the iPods on Android (as I have)?

The Buds Pro are amazing, but they will NOT stay in my ear when I need them to stay in the most. So I’m sticking with AirPods Pro. I was literally willing to use my old android phone to change settings but mainly use them with an iPhone. However, the fact that they will not stay in is a deal breaker. They sound MUCH better than the AirPods Pro.

@@muhammedadel3481 so I’m definitely not a big user of ANC so take that with a grain of salt. I need transparent audio modes more than ANC. However if you can get a good fit I’d say it’s like an 8. It’s good but the earbuds slip out of position so often that I’ve rarely been able to enjoy ANC for an extended amount of time.

Honestly with the audio of the mic it sealed in the galaxy buds for me granted they both sound similar its simply the fact that the mic being closer to your mouth made it a lot louder and distorted it a little when you were outside granted i will buy both i know im getting the galaxy buds first thank you it made 2 weeks of speculation way easier

The Galaxy Buds Pro DO look better! Personally, I think the Galaxy Buds Pro inside sound the way the AirPods Pro sounded outside. Maybe it’s because I was watching this on AirPods Pro, but the microphone indoors sounds way better on the AirPods. However, outside is where the Galaxy Buds Pro really shined. Also, the AirPods and Galaxy Buds Pro are the same price at Best Buy now at $199 as of Feb 10, 2021. As soon as I saw the galaxy buds pro come in different colors and don’t have the stem I wanted them! Sad I hadn’t seen them sooner otherwise I might have gotten those instead. I also love the chirp feature for the buds pro you mentioned. Because you’re right, every time an AirPod falls out I’m always annoyed that I can’t page it or hear one ring, just as you mentioned in the video. Absolutely great review! New subscriber here for sure. 🙂
