I have watched quite a number of videos on using a chatter tool. This is by far the most comprehensive and well explained. I cannot believe they are only a few comments. Some woodworkers I’m really missing out. Thank you again.

Hi Joe, Thanks for the feedback. I have been trying to promote these videos and can't seem to get an audience, not sure why not. There are a lot of resources here but not very many people seem interested. If you can, please help spread the word about this channel, perhaps we can bring more people in.

Peter, Thanks for the feedback! Dick Sing is a master of the wood lathe and it was such and honor filming him and sharing his skills with the world. Turning is a wonderful hobby that can really help the creative types express their visions. Thanks for stopping in to see the videos!

What is this tool? I am very interested. Thank you. And can it be bought somewhere?
@MakingStuffwithChrisDeHut Жыл бұрын
Hi CodlFaaic, Look at your favorite turning tool supplier, the tool is called a "Chatter Tool". There are several different brands available. Cheers! Chris

Are you contacting the wood with the tip, or the sides?
@MakingStuffwithChrisDeHut Жыл бұрын
Hi Sethwarner2540, Unfortunately, I filmed Dick doing that 20 years ago, I can't remember that sort of detail. My guess would be that it is the tip. Cheers! Chris
