Spend Easter in the shed, but I like being in the shed as long as I get some progress. I think camping is Lisa's worst nightmare. So unlikely she will go. Planning a trip to QLD to attend "All Ford Day' car show and swap meet and also a trip to Sydney and possibly visiting friends in Sydney, Canberra, Yass and Gundagai and then going to the snow, snowy Mountains. Hoping at some stage to travel around Tasmania and Outback Australia for prospecting. Also thinking about attending the NSW 'Van Life' Meeting gathering in October in northern NSW near Byron Bay.

Coming along, we used to use saddle polish (I think they call it dressing or soap these days) on any of those external black plastic parts. makes then really shine.

My daughter probably has that for her horse saddles. I bought a bottle of that Back to Black stuff about 20 years ago, still going, but starting to run low. I just bought some Bowden's Trim Restorer over Easter as they had the 25% off sales on, hopefully it will be good once the back to black runs out.

The problem is you either have time or money. Never both. Spend most of Easter in the shed on the van. Need to get the van done by the end of April/May as I have trips planned. Also need to fix the EL, it's still broken down, bought all the parts for it. 😭

Looking at either a Kings Fridge or a Jay Car Brass Monkey Fridge. Can't justify (or afford) the price of the expensive ones. I have friends that use both of those and swear by them so I am just watching the specials at the moment to get a good deal, I refuse to pay full price for anything. 🤣🤣

@@MikesManCave I have a brass monkey one couple of years old now just the smallest one used in the car now and then have no problems so far with it. Cheers

@@Mick_Au A good friend of mine has the Brass Monkey one, probably a medium size around the 30 litres mark and he loves it. Another friend has the 90 litre dual zone Kings fridge freezer and is very happy with it. I don't need or even want a 90 litre due to space and power consumption, but I would love a dual zone, so I can freeze meat have ice blocks etc as well as keep cold drinks. Probably looking at the smallest Dual Zone I can get.
