@katiemurphy33722 жыл бұрын
Hello! I know you said your mattress size, but I was wondering what size is you wood base when closed? Also did you a link or a video coming out about how to change over to electric windows!! Thank you :)
@lachiemac26422 жыл бұрын
Hey Katie, the bedframe all closed up was 1m wide x 1.2m long from memory. As far as the electric windows, I didn't film anything for that unfortunately, the job was already half finished when I bought the van, and I only finished it off so I didn't feel it was justifiable as a whole video. Thanks👌🏼

I’m about to get a 1999 express and going to follow your set up at much as possible it’s perfect. Do you have a shower set up at all?
@lachiemac26422 жыл бұрын
Ey, fantastic, definitely keep me updated on how your build goes👌🏼 unfortunately in this build I didn't include a shower, as I didn't think it was necessary with the limited space available. If you're going for one, I'd definitely look into portable 12v options that you can pack away tightly, other than that, I found I got by alright with public showers or caravan park utilities ✌🏼
@Slushynoobfan232 жыл бұрын
how many kms does the express last for
@lachiemac2642 Жыл бұрын
If looked after, the express should run until around 300,000kms. But I wouldn't guarantee much over that without an engine rebuild.

how are you able to earn money on the road
@lachiemac2642 Жыл бұрын
Hey mate, I don't earn any money on the road at this point. I work full-time as a landscaper and do the van stuff as a hobby. I'm hoping that long-term I can make a bit of money off of the KZbin content and from flipping the vans and maybe focus more on this lifestyle full time🤙🏼

my only question is how do u make money
@lachiemac26422 жыл бұрын
Hey mate, I work full-time as a gardener, and spend the money I save from that on the builds. Any money I make from selling the vans gets re-invested into better materials or tools for the next one. I'd love to get to a point where I could do this for income, but for now it's definitely more of a passion project 😂 just love building and camping
