Haha, yes, 300db would destroy internal organs especially at low frequency. In saying that this horn is amazing especially for the $$, I will be ordering a few more of these very soon.

@@MikesManCave The decibel scale is logarithmic. A nuclear blast is theorised to be at around 280db, however this measurement is meaningless as it is a shockwave, not a conventional sound. This horn is claiming to be a weapon of mass destruction.

4 years ago after being knocked back on a roadworthy in NSW for having air horns I purchased a set of these horns for my ute and I'm pleased to say they have lasted well .

You could download a free db meter to your phone to measure how loud they are. If be curious to see how loud they are. I reckon about 110, which is very, very loud. Thanks for doing an honest test and not hooking them up to a battery charger like that guy in another clip, too

It does not come with anything, just the horns and mounting brackets, if you are replacing an existing horn you probably won't need a relay, I would try it without and if it needs one you can always add one if required. I only tested them of a small 12V battery so a motorbike battery should be fine.

Not sure why you would, you need both to get the right sound. There is no way to make it louder it just is what it is.

This test isn't accurate because there is a volume control on the horn it's self to make it louder or softer. I bought the same horn on temu. I'll post a picture

It’s not a volume control that’s how the frequency of the horn is controlled, every horn has that, don’t mess with it or you will stuff it up.

What people dont understand is that the difference between 10 decibels and 20 isnt isnt just 1x more. Its 10X more. And that scale goes up every 10 db is another 10X louder. So the difference between say 150 db and 200 isnt just 25% louder, it's 100,000 times louder. Krakatoa was said to be about 195 decibels which caused a tsunami 150 miles away and broke window 160 miles away. 250 decibels is loud enough to kill everything around you for many miles. So a horn that is actually 110 decibels but advertised at 120 isnt just being over advertised by 10% its over advertised by 1000%. You can imagine how ridiculous these claims are by claiming 300 db. The sligtest beep of A 300 db in traffic would kill you and all animals for miles. I love buying stuff like this off ebay because the guarantee says you get what is advertised or you get your money back. Until these chinese liars stop this outright lying and thievery behavior they can keep giving me free stuff. I encourage everyone to buy one on ebay and then open a dispute when you get it. Youll get one for free

DB in capitals is meaningless. dB is a logarithmic scale and an increase of 10dB means an increase in volume of 10 times. Very near silence is 10dB. A jet engine at 100ft is 140dB. In theory 300dB would be 160 times louder than the jet engine and would kill you instantly. A nuclear explosion is 280dB.
