I feel the same way about Jason. As far as I remember he actually never did anything bad. He was a normal older brother and quite helpful but the four living girl-bosses acted like he was dropping bodies left and right.
@xakirax_88643 жыл бұрын
@@alias1150 He never did anything bad? The guy is not the worst on the show and he changes as a person but that doesn't excuse the fact that he founded the slimy N.A.T peedough club where his friends filmed UNDERAGE girls in their BEDROOM including his SISTER and does nothing about it except tell Spencer and then leave the club.Ian groomed Allison and Spencer,Garret was seeing Jenna,and Jason had a lil moment with Aria.He knew what kind of nasty friends he had and you'd think he'd fiercely protect his sister from being harmed by Ian He finee tho

@alias11503 жыл бұрын
@@xakirax_8864 I honestly forgot about that. Was it ever mentioned more than once? I just never saw him as a "bad guy". He also admits to being on drugs for years, not that it is an excuse for creating the NAT club. Although the trauma caused by being gaslit by your parents into thinking your "brother" is your imaginary friend probably didn't help his decision-making ability. But he's the only one from the NAT club that changes and actively tries to help people. He helps at-risk youth and is rather "honest" when the liars question him. He's one of the characters I wish they invested more time in because he had the potential for so many interesting storylines with the Hastings or Cece. I would love to see him react to Alex Drake. I get that it probably came down to actor availability.

I mean, they were wrong in assuming A was one person so the first time they were wrong was at least reasonable - even if the degree of stalking made that clearly questionable. Chalk it up to nerves. As soon as they got that realization it was stupid. But tbh the only logical way A could have known everything is if one of the core group was A. Even the actresses who played them were sure one of them was A. It was changed because the fan base hit it on the nose, but Marlene got offended they guessed it and went out of her way to make an unguessable plot twist that ruined the whole show.

One thing I've heard is that show writers opt for high school settings because it's more relatable to more people. Not everyone goes to college but most graduate high school. Also, I have always found the whole "Hollywood is full of pedophiles" thing to be insanely naive. Pedophilia is a bigger problem in most societies as much as that makes us uncomfortable. Researchers estimate up to 5% (1 out of every 20) of males are pedophiles.
